Pedal to Nord electro 6D 73

Hi,

I just got a brand new Electro 6D 73. What a fantastic keyboard. Today I bought an Yamaha FC7 foot control to use as a volume pedal in the organ and synt mode.
I went into the setup menu and changed to the Yamaha FC7. Two problems: The pedal works "in reverse". Meaning that when it's in the Zero position it's 100% and when i
put it in max it's ca 50%. The other thing is that it's very un-linear. Mening that as soon as I move the pedal it goes from 50% to 100%. I've read the manual for both the
Electro 6 and the FC7 and I can't see thet there is anywhere I can change this. Thanks for any input from a Newbie.

Hi, check that you have inserted the jack in NE6 Ctrl Pedal port fully, if OK then you may have a defective pedal (test it with a multimeter)
