Yep, currently Nord can't even offer updates for their existing products in a reasonable amount of time (as they have always done prior.) I would not expect a new product any time soon. Did they ever even complete the Sample Library 4.0 on the site? I mean, the Piano 5 is still the only board that can play these right?

Yep, the Piano 5 is the only instrument that can use the V4 samples. I was hoping eventually that the other current products, NS3, Wave 2, E6 would be updated for this format. I hope they read this forum from time to time and understand that rather than a new instrument release, sound banks or felt pianos, an update of the current products would be most welcomed-

I'm not convinced this can all be blamed on Covid and so-called Covid supply-line issues.

Nor am I. This is software, and plenty of companies both large and small are able to pump out updates for existing gear.

Re: April is about to end, and no new product release.
Exactly - You would think that they would have more time for software updates, since due to the delivery situation, software development for new hardware is not likely first priority now

Just play music with the equipment you already have. It's already incredibly capable. Trust me.
There must be something better to do than wait for some new thing to suddenly appear and make all tour problems go away. Call a friend, pick up your trusty keyboard and go have a jam. Maybe find a new friend.

This is the way to look at it. Use the instrument you have, delve into it, discover what it is capable of. It seems to me that there are a lot of Nord owners who really have just scratched the surface and don't really understand the architecture and power of their instrument.Elias wrote:Just play music with the equipment you already have. Re: April is about to end, and no new product release.
Discussed so many times in the past, but once more: Nord Stage is not only a "piano" but also an Organ clone and Synth, so the keybed needs to be a compromise allowing to play all these different kind of sounds in an acceptable way, a pure piano action would not be ideal in this respect (and that's the reason why Nord Piano and Nord Grand exist and with a different keybed)M1tsos wrote:I understand the instrument but i dislike the fatar keybedDJKeys wrote:This is the way to look at it.
