L/R channels are not equal

Hello to every body! I'm new here but have been using Nord Keyboards for a long time. I noticed that the left channel on my Nord Electro 6 is not equal to the right in terms of volume. See the attached pic. Is it normal? Or could it be the problem of Nord itselft? Or should I look for the problem somewhere else (though i've already checked everything possible...)?

Apologies if you’ve already done the basic troubleshooting: have you plugged the right cable into the left output and the left cable into the right output for another test recording?

Some audio interfaces have input switches to accept +4dB or -10dB line levels. Might the inputs be set differently?

I even tried different wires — same result. The chain is: Nord ---> Allen & Heath ZEDi-8 --- via USB --> MacBook Pro with Adobe Audition installed. Mixer balance centered, wires checked...

There are numerous points that could change the volume. From on board effects on the instrument, to a gain or pan parameter in Adobe Audition (don't know much about the software). Try to individually bypass or swap channels in every possible point on the signal chain. Try a different audio interface, plug in headphones straight to the board, try every possible change one at a time.

There are of course samples which aren't centred - that's why Nord samples are stereo. With a piano sample, it would e.g. matter if you play lower or higher notes. But that's not what your problem looks like. And apart from such things as stereo spreading, your outputs should have an equal level.

That's why cross testing etc. is a good idea.

Another thing I’m bothered by — looking at your waveforms, it looks like something is hard clipping or heavily limited.

What sound are you using for testing?

and a very warm welcome to this great forum.

Could you perhaps redo the testing with a solid Hammond sound, only 1 or 2 drawbars out, no chorus/vibrato/percussion, no effects, not even EQd? Start the recording, press and release the keys, then swap the nord‘s output plugs and play again without interrupting the recording. You may zero the volume while swapping the plugs. Then post the foto please.
