Time-based effects: linked with layer volume?

I get around this with a lot of sounds by using the Amp Sustain knob (mapped to my foot pedal or mod wheel). Lowering the sustain knob reduces the level but leaves the effects trails.

I would love it if Nord would fix this, but even if we never see another OS update, the Wave 2 is still an absolute beast of a synth!

Although I would never need this feature, I am very disappointed in Nord's complete neglect of the NW2. There are a growing number of issues members have pointed out, and there are definitely improvements that can be made in a new OS. I have resigned myself to the fact that this instrument that I pre ordered and bought new in spring of 2020 may never see another update. Perhaps if Nord made an effort to update the NW2 and fix some of the major complaints, they would find a wider audience for this keyboard-

We should always remember that other much older Nord keyboards have received (and are still receiving in fact) updates. The Wave 2 is relatively recent. I don't really see Clavia neglecting it indefinitely. But I agree updates should come more quickly, especially the ones concerning significant issues.
