NL3 tone freezing/holding

Post by yake85 »

Hi,

I have an issue with my NL3 freezing and holding a tone.
This occurs when I play a few tones fast and then do a slide on the keyboard.
To cancel the hold i have to use the panic buttom. Then it will release the hold.
I have no sustain pedal connected so that is not the issue, but the keyboard act like if you would be holding down a sustain pedal.

I have the synth conncected with MIDI to change program and to layer sounds with other unit, but nothing else.

Have anyone else encountered the same issue?
Any solutions?

Greatful for any replies.

Try it with MIDI ports entirely disconnected - you might have a MIDI loop.

Thank you for replying.
I have tried with both the MIDI connected and disconnected.
I even restarted the synth with the MIDI disconnected. But with the same result.

No idea then. I haven't ever had stuck notes on my unit just from playing the keyboard, no matter how fast. I get stuck notes via MIDI all the time, it has a limit to how many messages it can process at a time, it seems. But the keyboard itself does not go through the MIDI engine internally, I don't think (I have seen no direct evidence that it does, let us say it this way). It is, after all, a Lead synth, meant to be shredded on and played fast.
