Pitch bend with midi controller
I am connecting a midi controller to a NS3 using Dual KB (channel 2). I'm getting the program sound with the controller but the pitch bend wheel and ribbon are not responding on the controller. It's a synth patch that works fine on the Nord wheel. What am I missing?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Pitch bend with midi controller
Which MIDI Controller exactly (brand/model) and how is it configured?
Are you sending its PB and Ribbon CC (which one btw) on the same channel? (you can check by connecting the controller to a computer and inspect data being sent with a MIDI Monitor app)

controller - Alesis vortex 2 keytar - I can't update firmware or connect the controller to the Alesis editor on my Mac because the 'developer' didn't configure the editor or firmware downloader for Mac Big Sur OS.
Can I modify the CC for the PB and Ribbon on the NS3 and just play around with it, or am a hosed?

Re: Pitch bend with midi controller
Nope, you need to properly configure the Vortex, so either you use a different computer/OS to run the Vortex editor or...
... if your Mac is an Intel one, not M1, you may install Windows in a Virtual Machine, e.g. using VirtualBox, or in a HD partition (in this case using Bootcamp) and run the editor in there, this requires some not-so-common computer skills, so I guess you'd already done one of the 2 if you knew how to, but maybe if you have the classic "techie friend" at hand who may help you in doing this (or... provide you a different PC/OS)
