Hi, how can i release a note in the sample editor?
I mean: i want the sample to fade out, after i have released the key....
i use the latest editor 4.02, that function was in earlier editions....

You cannot do that on the sample level, a sample in .nsmp2 format (selected for NE4) when looped or cannot have also Fade Out , as noted in NSE v4 online manual:
Note: Combining Loop and Fade Out is not supported in the NSMP2 format. See “Compatibility and Formats” further down for more info.
so to handle the release part of a looped nsmp2 you have to use the amplitude envelope of synth where you play it, e.g. the Samp Env of your NE4 where you can set the desired release time (see NE4 manual for the 3 possible settings and how to set them)
