Action comparison of Electro5 HP vs Stage 3 76HP?
Hi friends, I'm a piano player - currently curious if the action is any different between my Electro5HP 76 and a Stage 76HPmodel. I've found the action of the Electro HP isn't responsive enough for quick/fast playing, but love the 76 size compared to the 88. Is the action of the Stage 76HP different than the ElectroHP and/or better for piano playing, or the exact same? If not, would there be a recommendation for getting the best piano-like action with access to synths and organs still while staying in the 73-76 key range? Thanks!

I think the Electro 5 and 6 have 73-key HP keybeds:

That being said, other than the number of keys (73 Electro and 76 Stage) I believe the mechanics and feel should be the same.

Re: Action comparison of Electro5 HP vs Stage 3 76HP?
Wasn't it that the Stage 2-76 had a hammer action keybed like the 88? But not the 2ex and the 3 anymore? In my eyes, somebody who uses the word "piano-like", won't probably be happy with a Stage 3 HP. It's lightweight, but in my opinion it's not for playing piano - only for people who are used to that sort of action. Was the Electro 5 already the same? What about waiting for the Piano 5-73 that we've seen for an hour or two on instragram before it was removed from Michael Bereal's account? It seems to have a virtual hammer action keybed like the big one. But no organ, of course.

Hi
The Stage 2 HA76 has a fully weighted action and is really nice to play. It was the last Stage 76 to have the Hammer Action, From the 2ex they changed to the Hammer Portable keybed. Its less piano like, but it lighter to carry, hense the portable tag.
So maybe you should look at trying a stage 2 HA76. Its the same as the HA88 but with 76 keys.
