Stage 3 HA88 Rev B ventilation holes
Hi,
I've just purchased Stage 3 HA88 Rev B.
After comparing some of the photos of this model I've noticed that my Nord doesn't have ventilation holes on the rear panel. Does anybody have the same "feature"? I don't know if this is an issue but it seems to be weird that my Nord differs from those on the photos.

+1 on the photo, also could you please add a photo or type the text that’s printed right to the reverb section?
“HANDMADE IN SWEDEN BY CLAVIA DMI AB revB”.......?
Maybe they’ve changed the panel version and don’t include the ventilation cutouts anymore...

Re: Stage 3 HA88 Rev B ventilation holes
Looks like Nord changed this, my Stage 3 88 is RevB v5.1 and it sill has the ventilation holes

Mine too. But I am pretty sure a member of this forum a few months ago got a Stage 3 88 which was already RevB 5.2, I don't remember who it was but maybe we could ask him to confirm this. Apparently the vent grid wasn't necessary... otherwise I don't see why they would remove it.

You might want to ask Clavia directly if that should be a new design or a mistake. Together with your last photo. No big thing. Maybe they changed the power unit so the ventilation slots got obsolete.

I did that already but they seems to be very hard to reach and answer any question.FZiegler wrote:You might want to ask Clavia directly if that should be a new design or a mistake. Together with your last photo. No big thing. Maybe they changed the power unit so the ventilation slots got obsolete.

That must have been you then!Hlaalu wrote:a member of this forum a few months ago got a Stage 3 88 which was already RevB 5.2, I don't remember who it was but maybe we could ask him to confirm this

Yes very strange indeed... I understand they build the aluminium case themselves in Sweden, so for how absurd it may seem it looks like it was a mistake on their side. Amazing though how that managed to pass the QC... And how it managed to pass the heat stress test as well.
