How do the Nord monitors work with a sub? There is a "Sub Out" on the back of the left speaker. Does the Nord speaker separate high/low frequencies and reroute them when that jack is used? I've only had situations where the audio L/R is brought into a sub which does the crossover work and then sends the non-sub frequencies out to a pair of speakers. Is that the way to use a sub with the Nords? Or do I just hook a sub up to the leftside Nord montior (with a phono plug?!?)?
I'm going to use the Nord Monitors with my Nord Grand.
I looked through this forum and other keyboard forums without any luck. I also looked on Nord's site for a user manual or technical information for the speakers.
Probably the info is in plain sight somewhere. If so, apologies.

Re: Using a Subwoofer with Nord Piano Monitors
I'm cross-posting this after posting in the studio monitors topic. I'm very happy with my Nord monitors on my Stage Classic. I bought a $200 Yamaha keyboard subwoofer and it works great, just needed a different cable.

Re: Using a Subwoofer with Nord Piano Monitors
A nice thing about using a sub other than just reproducing sub frequencies is that they take some of the load off the other speakers. My Adam A3X monitors go down to 60hz on the low end. I added a sub that extended down to 32hz. I crossed over at 85hz which translated to less work and better performance for the A3Xs.
