Hey, Folks--
I just relocated my Stage 3 from Spain to the US and I need to change the power selection switch from 230V to 115V.
In what order do I remove which screws, and in what orientation should the keyboard be to remove the case properly?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Open Stage 3 Case to Change Power Switch
Hey again, folks--
I relied on experience in my former life as an TMDE and electronics tech and instructor 20 years ago and worked out how to open it myself. For those interested, here is exactly what I did:
1. Remove the screws (Torx T20) that anchor the top panel to the bottom plate from the bottom of the keyboard. There might be up to three screws that anchor the top panel to the bottom, and they are positioned near the rear of the keyboard. Removing the bottom screws first ensures that the top panel does not tumble away uncontrolled and cause damage to the internal connections as you manipulate the keyboard. 2. Remove the endcap screws (Torx T20) from each end. There might be three to five screws on each end. Removing these screws does not permit the actual removal of the endcaps.
3. Remove the nine screws (Torx T20) that fasten the red top panel to the rear of the keyboard. Removing these screws releases the top panel and endcaps as a single unit from base of the keyboard.
4. Very carefully lift the top page about 2-3 inches (5-8 cm) form the base to access the power selector switch, which sits at the end of the blue power switch mechanism. Lifting the top panel higher can damage the ribbon cables within. 5. Select the appropriate power setting.
6. Reassemble the keyboard in reverse order.
7. Fuse appropriately:
* If you select 115V, use a 250mA fuse (115V x 250mA = 28.75W)
* If you select 230V, use a 125mA fuse (230V x 125mA = 28.75W)
* My NS3 came with a 125mW fuse and the selector set to 230V, so the rating listed here are calculated given the power and voltage levels of the NS3 at the factory fusing level (I = P/E, where P is 28.75W and E is selected from 115V or 230V). In my user manual, no information is provided for correct fusing, so a link to an authoritative source regarding fusing the NS3 will be very helpful. Kind reader, please search the comments below for authoritative fusing information before taking my ad hoc advice.
I hope this help someone out there.
