Hello jlp54,
Welcome to the forums. :welcome:
This may take a couple questions and answers to get on the right track.

I would first make sure that the Electro is set to receive MIDI on the same channel that the Yamaha pedal is transmitting on.
Also check to determine if the Electro is set to receive control changes ( it should be by default).

How do you want the pedal to affect the Electro?

Cheers, Hanon

It should do what you're asking of it.
I believe the connections should be
MIDI Out of KX-8 to MIDI In of MFC-10,
MIDI Out of MFC-10 to MIDI In of XS Rack,
MIDI Out (reconfigure as MIDI Thru) of XS Rack to MIDI In of Electro 3

Whatever switch that you wish for the MFC to control the rotary speaker speed should be programmed to CC#82

Cheers, Hanon
