NW Instrument
You can create programs on the NW2 which can be played like a unique instrument. Not that I was totally successful
, but here is a program that gives you an idea. There are a lot of sonic possibilities in this board, and I have just been scratching the surface. The main thing is that the NW2 has a large sweet spot, so most everything has a quality sound to it.

Re: NW Instrument
That's interesting, I've seen people take other samples / virtual instruments and put them through the editor and onto their birds, but you're totally right. You could record a four layer program through a daw and turn that into a single sample.
GREAT THINKING DJ!! Will try this out soon!!

Re: NW Instrument
With the sample editor you can do that and even more. For a specific song (final countdown) I recorded the desired chords with a pad sound and the corresponding root notes with a synth bass sound (both programs of my nord wave), mixed them in DAW, exported as WAV and created a sample. I put that sample in my electro so by hitting a single key I have both the chord and the bass leaving my other hand free to play the brass on the wave! You could record a four layer program through a daw and turn that into a single sample.
