I feel like Nord hit a sweet spot with the E6. The few gripes I have with it (like the lack of 9th drawbar cancel) can all be addressed with software. While it doesn’t have the same song organizer feature of the E5, the overall ergonomics are better. . .
. . . Unless they truly turn it into half of a Stage with a simple synth engine, filter and pitch/mod controls. But that gets away from the mission of the instrument and possibly raises the price more than I’d like.
Should I purchase NE6 or wait for a potential NE7 next year?
