Lead 3 & Slots - Persistent?

Post by JW Nap »

Greetings from Annapolis, MD USA

Thank you in advance for reading.

I have a Lead 3 and for the life of me I cannot get slots to be persistent between power on/off. If it's in the manual, I cannot find it.

Thank you,
JW

What exactly do you mean "persistent"? You mean you want the Lead to boot up to the same config you turned it off on? It won't do that, it will always boot up to 1:1, to the best of my knowledge. If you have a set of programs (you are aware of the difference between the ad-hoc slots in program mode versus the group of slots as a whole in performance mode, right?) in the slots and you want to come back to that configuration, you need to save that as a performance and then load that performance when you reboot the instrument. You could save them as 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, and 1:4 and they'll load up in slots 1-4 automatically, but if you expect it to autosave your noodling around and just come back where you left off, that's not how it's programmed.
