Any new piano samples in sight?

Everything about Nord keyboards in general; which one to choose, the sound manager, sample editor, and general discussion about the sample and piano libraries.

Any new piano samples in sight?

Post by daniel70 »

Does anybody know something about new piano samples the company is working on? No complaints, but it's an untypical long time ago, since they gave us a new Grand, Rhodes or Wurly or Clavinet sample...?

White Grand wasn't that long ago, was it? Maybe it was... Time does seem to be flying!

Either way, I'll always welcome a new sample :)

hasn't been a full year yet since the White Grand was released...

and NO, no one here knows anything about new piano samples the company is working on -- only Nord insiders know such things, and any such person who would reveal such a thing in this forum (or anywhere else) would quickly find themselves on the outside and looking for a new job! ;-)

personally, I'm hoping for a 1928 Gulbransen upright...preferably two versions, one with thumb tacks on the hammers and one without

bless, pablo

PS -- we had spaghetti for dinner three times last week

Is this a weirdly specific wish or is it just my lacking knowledge of uprights? :?:

I believe this is humorous sarcasm.

Nord already offers more piano samples than I personally would ever need-

I hope for new Steinway D, or Yamaha C7, that are the most famous piano un the world. Because the grand lady d and the studio grand are too old and not too much detailed.

While I’m a fan of the (tired to some) Lady D and Studio 1 (C7) I would TOTALLY welcome new XL versions of both!

You can’t have enough of these :-)
