Couldn’t find the answer to this in the manual, maybe somebody knows:

How many custom patterns can be saved on the W2?

Are they saved on a per program basis, or is there a limited amount of pattern space?

I think you mean the arpeggio patterns?
As far as I can see, you can save a custom pattern per layer in each program. So there’s no real limitation.

1620 in total

They are saved pr. layer, so there are 4 custom patterns (that can be loaded with a preset and tweaked to your liking) pr program -- of which there are 400 regular ones you can store and 5 live... i.e. 4*(400+5) = 1620.
