.nsmp3 to .nsmp2, is it possible now?

So i want to play this sample in my Nord Stage 2 EX: https://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-lib ... sound-bank

Last year i checked it still not compatible. Is it possible now?

Not yet, as far as we know.

I thought it was a simple header change in the new nsmp3, but it seems it's really different between the 2 nsmp formats.

But we should give a big thanks to Nord's team to have the Nord Sample Editor able to save to v2 OR v3 !
Remember the NS2 went on the market almost 10 years ago !

Making the NS2 read nsmp3 (by an OS change for i.e.), would surely make users more than happy. But commercially for Nord, this is not really a big plus and we should understand that.

Converting nsmp3 back to nsmp2 is probably the easier way, but looks as if Nord is not interested to provide this

You have a point, but i think they should at least make .snmp3 possible for NS2 EX.

No. Only resampling is a way - if you have got access to a NS3, NE6 or NP4.

There also seems to be different versions of the nsmp3 format.
This is reducing the idea of understanding what the NordSampleConverter is actually doing to an nsmp to convert it to nsmp3 : then eventually apply this to convert nsmp3 to nsmp.

Based on the comments about the file converter, folks had a problem converting NSMP files to NSMP3 format that were uploaded from their keyboard, but didn't have a problem with the NSMP versions created by the Nord Sample Editor, indicating that Nord Sound Manager modified the NSMP file in some way either when downloading or uploading the NSMP file.

Wouldn't it be possible for anyone with Nord Sample Editor to load the .nsmp3 and save it as another format?
