Hi folks, sorry if I haven't searched the forum well enough; the answer's bound to be in here somewhere...
It's a simple Yes/No question; pretty sure that the answer is "no" but wanted to double check...
In the Nord Sound Manager software:
Is it possible to select/connect/assign programs to songs?
Seems it would have been sooo smooth to create/build/edit the songs in there, via drag & drop from a program list -> song list, in some organize/edit mode;
it's quite a tedious job to do on the NS3 if your handling a log of programs/songs...
Still: Great instruments, great forum!

Re: Nord Sound Manager - Question on editing songs
Yes you're right, the answer is "No" - sound manager doesn not offer any capabilities to edit programs, songs or others, the only "editable" option in sound manager is the change of order of the items loaded into the instrument and replacing assigned samples to a program

Re: Nord Sound Manager - Question on editing songs
Hi, I think stephensahlin meant something else. I think you mean to assign a soundfile by the nsm as you can do on the ns3-device. But the easier and faster way.
Also for me a very important function. I wantet to save the song assignments but in a further step I´m asked to save all the samples. That way is not satisfied, it takes to much time (3-4- hours).
I can save the Programs-settings very fast. I´d like to save the song-settings but there are not enough Songnumbers. I play in more bands and wanted to safe Songbank for Band A, Songbank for Band B and so on.
But that way takes to much time.
I only need to save the assignments to the songmode. I haven´t found a nord-solution.
Cheers
Helmuth
