Fix halftone shift on Nord Wave

Post by lado99 »

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out, how to fix halftone shift on my Nord Wave keyboard, because by some reason C on other instruments equal to B on my Nord Wave for all sounds in bank, including default and loaded samples, so it is shifted on halftone down

Advice would be helpful

Hi and welcome to NUF,

have you checked the System settings for Transpose & Fine Tune (and is the Pitch Bend working fine)?

Hello,

Thank you for your quick feedback and answer

So, I've pressed Shift and Slot B for transpose semi from +1 back to 0

slight correction here: the NW manual is your second best friend -- the WAVE is the best friend!

You probably pressed shift by accident while moving between slots, so you didn't realize that you have transposed your keyboard. That can happen to anyone...In a similar way, I enabled the memory protection on my electro the other day and it was impossible to store programs. I knew very well that I had disabled it the first day I got it, so I could not imagine it was back to ON somehow. It took me a while to figure it out.
