I'm attempting to create a program (Nord Stage 3 Compact) that allows the me to trigger different samples per 'key press'.
I can get the samples to play the same 'word' every time I play the key, but my target goal is to have different (random?) words play each time I hit a key.
This is an example of what the target result is when pressing C4 multiple times.
I looked through the user manual for the Nord Sample Editor and did not find an answer regarding the target goal of the project.
One work around I am developing is having multiple alt-starts to the sample by placing all the words in one sample and having them organized by start-time. But that isn't working because I am only able to find one additional alt-sample start option in the Nord Sample Editor.
Any help, recommendation, or suggestion is appreciated!

Re: [HELP] Animal Crossing: KK Slider 'vocals' patch
Sample editor as well as Nord Stage do not support multisampling for 1 key.
Each sample for different keys.
For this purpose i would use Yamaha Modx.

Re: [HELP] Animal Crossing: KK Slider 'vocals' patch
While MODX is one of numerous keyboards that support multiple samples per key (based on velocity, i.e. how hard you hit the key), rather than buy a new keyboard, I would use an app on an iOS device. Especially if you already own such a device, as many do, since that makes it a really cheap solution (if you have to buy new, iPod Touch would be the cheapest iOS option). That's a lot cheaper and more compact than adding another keyboard, and Nord Stage has its Ext function which is designed specifically to let you do things like this (add additional sound sources using MIDI).

It can't be done exactly as you describe with Nord gear, if you want to do something similar with your Stage, either make one longer sample with a string of words in the right tempo (which may be a problem if the tempo of your band varies a bit) or use a couple of keys each with it's own word sample.
