I think the wheel attaches to the pot shaft with a screw (Allen key type?). Maybe that became lose?

Thanks.
Has anyone a photo showing how the mod wheel is connected to the pot?
And how these parts are attached to the board?
I think I have already seen such a photo but I don't remember where.

I just found a pic of mod wheel: http://studiorepair.com/gallery/Clavia/ ... 90011.html
Concerning my issue and after seeing pic, I'm afraid that problem comes from blue potentiometer.
Mod wheel resistance seems only coming from this part.
But I cannot be sure since I don't have other view angle of wheel/pot connection.

EDIT: I forgot the link to the pic, sorry. Added.

Just by looking at a picture you won't know what the problem really is. For example if the screw is not tightened, you might be moving the wheel without turning the shaft the whole travel distance.

To definetly resolve this issue, the Nord technical center soldered the wires with the mother card. No more problem now.
Actual synth: Nord Modular G2 - Nord Stage 3 73 - Virus Ti2 - Peak - Prophet 6
Before: Nord Lead 3 & 4, Stage 1&2, Wave, Virus C, DSI Tetra, P12, and few others...

I agree concerning fixing issues only with a pic. But if I can, I prefer to avoid opening my NS3 too many time.
My wheel works from 10% to 100% (not the first 10%).
A screw not tightened can imply that behavior?
In this case, I expected that the wheel did not work at all, or had a similar issue from 0% to 100%.
But I prefer your explanation ;-)

For info, we can correctly see how mod wheel is fixed to potentiometer:
I suppose that modulation wheel are similar (or same) on all Nord product.
I think I understand how it works. Repair or changing it seems not so difficult.
The most difficult is to make strong weldings if pot need to be changed.

Weldings or solderings?

If you need to solder electronics and don't know the difference to welding and don't have proper tools, then I would kindly suggest you find a person that could help you out -- just to avoid ending having to replace the entire unit :-)

Or maybe I misunderstood what you meant, or something was lost in translation? My comment above is not meant to be sarcastic!

Ahah. Only a translation problem,
I didn't know the correct word and google translate gives me this one which was sounding good to me.
Just after writing this post, I saw that "solder" word was much better :-)
If I understand correctly what means "welding" word, french translation is the same as "solder".

I still have not opened my NS3, but I think you are right, Mr_-G-: when I push a little bit the mod wheel to the left during move, I am able to modulate along full range.
So it seems to be a screw to tighten.
