New OS 2.10 - Bug? Init Control Pedal Setting on Organ
Loaded the new OS tonight. I went to a program with Organ and Synth levels morphed to the Control Pedal and found that the Synth sounded but the Organ did not. I moved to the program a couple times with the same result. Upon moving the Control Pedal the Organ immediately kicked in. Anyone experiencing a similar problem?

Have you enabled Volume+Swell on Control Pedal, maybe?

Re: New OS 2.10 - Bug? Init Control Pedal Setting on Organ
So just to check: You have set it up to morph the volume via the control pedal on the organ from "off" to some "max" level, and when you switch to that particular program, the organ sounds at the unmorphed level of "off" even if the pedal is at another setting -- in other words, the setting is not read when you change to the program but only when you move the pedal? And this works for the synth section?
As @maxpiano says, what are your settings for the controller in the menu?
I did a few quick tests here this morning, but didn't seem to find anything unusual related to this scenario.

Re: New OS 2.10 - Bug? Init Control Pedal Setting on Organ
Hello, no the Swell is not enabled, simply morph of the Organ level from 0 to max, and the Synth level is morph 0 to about 5. Yes baekgaard, I changed programs to the one mentioned and only the Synth sounded until I moved the Control Pedal. UPDATE I checked this again and the problem is intermittent and similar to a problem I've previously noted on this forum particular to the Synth and not the Organ. For what's occurring, if you turn the Program dial very quickly and just land on the Program (not spin quickly to get to the range and then slowly to find the right Program), I found that the Organ will not sound until the Control Pedal is moved. I recreated it again this morning but only by quickly spinning the Program dial and hitting the right Program. It worked fine going to the Program more slowly. The program I am using is the one I just posted on the Stage 3 forum for the B3 key click (nord-stage-3-programs-ns3p-ns3pb-files- ... 17268.html). As I have the program in M11, I guess this means that the problem would shown up more often on the first program of each bank A, B, C.. since a quick spin of the Program dial steps to those conveniently. Re: New OS 2.10 - Bug? Init Control Pedal Setting on Organ
I've tried to reproduce it here really carefully, and I cannot make it fail (although using another program, but based on your original description).
I even moved around my programs to get it into the start of a bank, and I haven't been able to reproduce it. I also tried to set it to only control and not control plus swell, and played around with the swell pedal too, setting it to volume etc.
Which pedal setting are you using? Mine is set up as a Roland type pedal -- not sure if that would have any impact?

Thanks for looking into this. I'm using the Yamaha (FC7 I believe).baekgaard wrote:...Which pedal setting are you using? Mine is set up as a Roland type pedal -- not sure if that would have any impact?
