Midi Note Output Inaccurate

Post by Eberhart »

My Nord Wave is outputting MIDI notes incorrectly and I cannot figure it out. It's out by 4st. For example, when I hit E flat, I'm getting G. Anybody have any suggestions? This is really bugging me.

I'll mention now that the semi-tone pot is at 0. So I'm not sure.

Hello Eberhart,
Welcome to the forums.
please check and report the System Menu/ Transpose value (should be zero if no transpose)
This setting also is applied to the MIDI output.
Cheers, Hanon

It is definitely not a computer thing.

From the manual:
user manual wrote:System Menu on page 59
The System Menu is used for editing system specific settings, which are shown in the LCD.

Press Shift and Slot A to enter the System Menu. Use the Up/Down buttons to change pages.

Hold an Up/Down button to scroll quickly through the pages.

Use the Rotary (Knob) to change the settings.
I hope this helps.
Cheers, Hanon
