I'm wondering if there's any electronics wizards here that have, or would be willing to , mod a nord drum unit to allow individual outs?
I saw a page on Instructables where a dude modded a Kork Volca by essentially tapping into the individual channels on the board and soldering up some individual jacks.
I've opened mine looking for something "obvious" but I don't want to poke around blindly... I can solder well, but no nothing about circuit boards, electronics, etc.
Google is not helping me on this, so I figured maybe it's a dark art that some initiate here can share?
No idea either, but since the Nord drum is a digital instrument and all sounds are calculated, I bet that summing and panning also takes place in the digital realm, and there will be one stream of digital audio going to the DAC, so I suspect there are no individual leads for each of the 6 channels on the board.. but I could be wrong..

I think you are not wrong at all, the Volca is analog so doing some “circuit bending” is feasible, not the case for digital instruments such as Nord Drums.
