No difference between panels. You must have something set differently between A and B. Vol, Mod wheel, pedal assignment, etc.NordBoy wrote:Has anyone else noticed that the exact same organ sound is much louder on panel b compared to panel a?

Re: Nord Stage 3 - hammond B3 Sound
I started from scratch and just copied panel a to panel b. There is still a noticeable difference.

I think the same applies to Electro 3 vs. Electro 4 and 5. Leslie of Electro 3 sounds warmer and more spatial.

Even if the thread above is about the Electro I must agree with the opinion that the Nord B3 model lags behind the Mojo 61, Viscount Legend and HX3. When comparing these with my Stage 3 I agree with those that describes the Nord B3 as sounding «compressed», «like a blanket over the Leslie» etc. Think Nord needs to rethink/redesign their model which seems to be more and more outdated. At the price level of the Stage 3 I would expect the B3 sound to match that of offerings costing a fraction of it’s price. Opinions?

Even the b3 organ in logic pro sounds good too, open, you can hear the wheels rolling.

Re: Nord Stage 3 - hammond B3 Sound
How the leader and first manufacturer to be able to nail the complexity of the B3 could be that far away now? Is it because Nord have so many models that they cannot update/Compete with all at the same time? Or do you think they gave up this small market because not enough profitable for them? Well, is the market is really small compared to the Stage keyboard or VA synths ?
I don't know, any idea?

I think that they are still working around this. Because the NS3 came with the B3 a little crippled out! RIght now at v1.40 is usable, let's see if any further update can blow our minds!Quai34 wrote:How the leader and first manufacturer to be able to nail the complexity of the B3 could be that far away now? Re: Nord Stage 3 - hammond B3 Sound
I hope they can give us an option to switch the reverb after the Leslie.
I’m looking at the Mojo 61. It could look fine with my NS388.
Regards
