Nord Electro 5D not playing correct patch name listed

Someone please help I think I broke my nord somehow. I restored it to factory settings and now when I go to a sound like lets say a Rhodes patch and I play it I get an organ sound instead. I have no idea how this even happened. Someone please help I'm in desperate need and I got some gigs coming up. This is a nightmare.

Could you please explain a bit more?

If you select, say, that Rhodes patch and it sounds like an organ: a) which parts are active? b) what are those parts loaded with?

So, is only the name of your patch wrong or is there also a difference between played engine and displayed engine?

I hope, there isn't a hardware failure in the memory!

I changed the sound but here is another example of what I am talking about. So now I have it on this Organ patch called "Sunday" you can clearly tell its an organ patch because it shows the drawbars but I don't get an organ sound instead I get a Clavinet patch. I even made sure it was not on split mode and tried turning the mix to the center.

I've never had a NE5, and I never encountered such a weird behaviour. But the things I'd do after reading dozens of reported and solved/unsolved issues on the forum, are:
a) disconnect the USB cable and try again;
b) try another (2nd) factory reset (maybe with another USB cable);
c) open up the keyboard and carefully watch for bad connections;
d) be puzzled.

Maybe there's someone else around with another idea.

So crazy, i've tried unplugging the USB cable and turning keyboard off and then back on still same issue. I will try with a different USB cable and see what happens after a restore but man this is so bizarre. This should not be happening on a $5,000 keyboard. Appreciate all your help.

Ok good news, I just tried unplugging the USB cable again and realized that when not plugged in it is working correctly but when plugged in it does not so strange! at least its working whew! thank you so so much for those tips!
