5" or 8" monitors for my Nord piano 4?

Hi all,

My 10 years old monitors (M-audio Bx8a deluxe) start to have problems and I'm thinking about replace them.
They are 8" and I like the sound, particularly for the bass.

I play in my room (12 m2) and I wonder if 5" monitors would be enough... I'd like to save space but I fear a lack of bass.
Do you think it's possible to have a rich sound with good bass with 5" monitors?
My budget is about 500€ for the pair.
I don't want Nord monitors, I think they are overprized.

listening to NS3 / NS2 / G2 / G2X rig thru Sceptre S8 right now...there are not in the $500 range

Did you finally find the problem, was it the monitors?

Anyway, the new JBL306P is in your price range and has plenty of bass. I have the earlier 305s in my studio and they sound great:
