My Nord Stage EX won't load. Help!

Hi!

My Nord Stage EX won't start up. The electricity works fine, when I turn it on all the lights flash as they should and the display says "Nord Stage EX 88. HW REV 1.6-20.

On the next screen the problem occurs, it says "Starting OS 6.08" but the loading bar never starts. I've been leaving it on for hours, and it just won't start load. I have tried starting up whilst holding down Shift+Store and I managed to update it from 6.06 to 6.08 with no problem. It updated fine, but still won't start the loading bar when the Nord is starting up it's programme.

I've also downloaded Nord Sound Manager but the program won't connect to my nord, which I find weird since I managed to update my nord from 6.06 to 6.08 (because you can do this without Nord Sound Manager) I also have a Nord Stage 2, and it connected fine with Nord Sound Manager, so it seems there is nothing wrong with my cables or Mac. I downloaded Nord Sound Manager because I wanted to see if it could help if I tried factory resetting the Nord, but it seems I need to have my nord connected to nord sound manager in order to do so. Since the Nord Stage EX won't fully start, the programme can't seem to find it. The Nord has never had any issues before in my 8 years of owning it. Is this a functionality error, or could there be something wrong with the mechanics?

Sometimes defective devices stop a synth from booting. Disconnect all pedals, and maybe - just maybe - move the wheel and the joystick once (because they also might send signals that they shouldn´t) and try again. And then, if you dare - open up the housing (ground yourself before by touching a radiator for example) and carefully check for loose or corroded connectors.
I guess this is all you can do by yourself, unless you are a technician. But if you are, I guess you would not have asked here.
If not, bring it to service.

Mine was doing something similar and it turned out to be a defective DSP.
