I have been trying to figure out this issue with my Stage 2 EX.
I want to be able to tap in a tempo speed while playing live so that I can get an Effect (eg Tremolo) to work in sync with the live music.
To do this, I have been tapping in a tempo in to the Mst Clk (in the middle left of the keyboard) and this works fine giving me the right tempo.
But the issue is that it doesn't affect the Effect section, whether I have Mst Clk switched on or not. The LED dial on Rate/Tempo doesn't move and the tempo doesn't change. No change whatsoever.
I am stuck and would really like an answer as I want to change some effects live!
Hi MvanD, thanks for you help and sorry for my slow response!
I did have a look at the videos but it's still the same situation!
Changing the tempo on the main master clock has no effect on the Effects section, before or after switching the Mst Clk on under the Effect.
The only way to change the tempo is to act directly on the Effect itself moving the Rate/Tempo knob.
I don't know what to do!
Have you any other synth (or a computer) connected via MIDI and maybe sending MIDI Clock? Because in that case the External MIDI Clock takes precedence over the NS3 Master Clock.

Gr Bart, thanks so much for going to the trouble of creating a video for the issue.
I can now say that I think the issue is sorted. Nothing technical or to do with MIDI clocks etc.
Just that somehow I wasn't changing the subdivision and wasn't getting any change when I was changing the Master clock.
Thanks again,
Chris
