Daft Punk - Get lucky (robotic voice sound)?

Post by Tomtom1983 »

Has anybody an idea to create a sound for the vocoder part? A complete program for the song would be even better ;-)
Please help me...

There's a great patch on the Wave For this. However, it's not a sample and for some reason my Wave is not communicating with any of my computers so I can't even grab it to upload. On mine it's patch 5:69 but as I got my board secondhand I have no idea if it's a factory sound or been added/moved by the previous owner.

Hi,

I made a patch for NS2. I sampled my vocoder for each sentence of the chorus. there is a sample for measurement. Only Downside is you have to be ready at a good tempo if it is not rigged.
I can download it, if you're interested

Interested!!

I've also been looking for a sample of the "Come On"s from Lose Yourself to Dance. My band started covering that song as soon as the album was leaked :-p

Hi everyone,

I finally test the patch with my group. It is difficult to use because of the tempo. More I glimpse that I have not sampled the right notes:
B, A, Ab instead of D, F #, E.

So I vocoder live.

Whenever I can, I redo the samples with good marks for those who are interested.

Sorry for the previous pactch ;)

Salut,
Je suis intéressé par ton nouveau patch.
On doit la jouer sur scène dans 2 semaines, donc si tu as une version des samples en tempo constant, je suis preneur.
Merci pour ton taf !
