Ground loop ;)
Hi,
Next time you set up your stuff, you can play an innocent prank to the mixer man by playing this sample of a ground loop.
The right pitch is on the G (6?) nearest to the VCA (in the NS2 88).
Post your anecdotes here!
By the way, it is true ground loop!

Re: Ground loop ;)
If you are in a 60Hz region, the closest note is the B (61.74Hz) rather than the G (49Hz).bdodds wrote:wouldn't it be different depending on your mains frequency?
Just as an innocent joke (what else!). I guess that the mixing engineer would see the funny side too, when you explain it and play some more notes in that sound.
Unless.. of course, if the engineer is not your friend or does not have a sense of humour, better not do it...

Re: Ground loop ;)
you can just make this sound with the organ or synth sine wave, I have done it before , its great when someone just plugs in a guitar.

Re: Ground loop ;)
It is not a clean sine wave, though.nordyboy wrote:you can just make this sound with the organ or synth sine wave
