Don't laugh. This is a punchy and realistic horn section sound from a Casio WK-3000 home keyboard, with a powerful attack and a built-in crescendo. I sampled every three semitones, and looped the sustain after the crescendo. No effects added (chorus and reverb switched off), but I added some mic sim while sampling. for added warmth.
