Is there any way Clavia could update the software on the Nord Stage keyboards so that Leslie/Rotor, Chorus/Vibrato and Perc. were tweakable in the global settings?

The 1.36 release made it possible to tweak the horn/rotor balance (if that is what you mean). So obviously it was possible for Clavia to add an option to change the balance already.

...and as for other tweaks, nobody but Clavia really knows wha's possible, and even if it is, nobody but Clavia knows if they have any interest in possibly doing it. ;-)

The only way to get a nord to sound as good as a hammond (yes i said it... :) is to put it through a good tube leslie. If you can't do that, put it through a 3300. If you can't do that put it through a vent. if you can't do that, save your pennies for the previous 3 things. I have tried everything and its not worth the run around trying to get it to sound right if you've played a real deal rig before. Fix the leslie, the tone going to the leslie you can deal with pedals, eq, and drawbar adjustments.

Have you tried the Stage 3 since the 1.36 update?

Randy, what are you running the Nord through? Sounds like a real leslie.

--> it is just the build-in leslie-sim :-)

I've got my NS3C Hammond sounds going into a Tall & Fat (off for clean-ish; on for 'growly') and then into a Vent II (with the overdrive on very slightly) and finally thru my PicoVerb giving a touch of delay/verb.
If I need extra heavy growl a la Purple, I just use the distortion (not the leslie one) on the NS3C.
I honestly could not be happier!! To me it was well worth the extra expense as this combo definitely sounds to me (and the band) WAY better than the Leslie sim on ANY Nord I've ever owned! :)
Bear in mind, my previous favourite Leslie sim sound of any Nord was from my venerable Electro 2, so I may have a different idea as to what constitures a great Hammond sound to everyone else...! :lol:

Well, I like that because it's on my plan to do just that, C2, to Tall & Fat to Vent II to TC hall of fame.... I had had an L100 35 years ago but I'm like you, I cannot remember how the real thing sounds....

An L100 sounds nothing like a B3.

I wouldn't say 'nothing like' (having played both at various times); they are both tonewheels after all...
But yeah; of course there are differences between spinet & console. Tony Banks vs Keith Emerson :)
