Hi all,
I have an LFX-1, and couldn't manage to get it working properly as a control pedal on my (brand spanking) new A1. Tried all available pedal options. The best result I was able to achieve was the full pedal travel covers only a very small range of a morph when compared with the mod wheel. The LFX-1 works fine as a control pedal on my E5D (can't remember which setting I used there, I'll check tonight). Any ideas?
Lead Foot LFX-1 as control pedal for A1?

I don't own that specific pedal, but it's a fact that there's not a common standard for expression pedals. Different brands and models will work differently on the same keyboard, and some will not work at all.
So it may perfectly be that your pedal is not compatible with the A1, unfortunately.

The vendor of LFX1 states "Not suitable for Yamaha and Korg (different polarity)" which suggests this is a Roland-type one. Try to set your A1 accordingly (see A1 Manual - Control Pedal sections for details)

Yup, that worked. I also had it set up as a Roland in my Electro. Thanks for the tip.maxpiano wrote:The vendor of LFX1 states "Not suitable for Yamaha and Korg (different polarity)" which suggests this is a Roland-type one.
