Hi,
Quick and simple, do you put reverb on the snare when you play live, via an Aux send to an rackmountable effect and then return to the mixer? If yes or no, why?

Yes when it is necessary for the drum sound.
No when it is not.
In a pop context, there's almost always some reverb on the snare.
In jazz, not so much.

I like a very short gate reverb on the snare, like Phil Collins. And sometimes in hi Tom and low Tom too!!

Ok, thanks, I was also thinking of the gate reverb....It will be a Lexicon MX200 and the examples given for each preset are 4, with one sound being a Snare so, I should find it.
