Building organ sound
What is the starting point for building an organ sound? Do you need to use the presets?

Re: Building organ sound
I'm assuming it's B3 sounds? Do a search for Hammond Drawbar settings. Loads of ideas there. Also depends on what style of music you play-Gospel settings are very different from Rock for example. Start with the drawbars set to 888000000, then gradually add the others. A good rock style is 88844444, with a bit of drive (4-6) Vibrato/chorus to V1 or C3. Percussion on volume soft. Add reverb to taste and bring in the fast leslie towards the end of a long sustained chord.
TBH it's all personal preference. You can also search for settings that famous players use, such as Jon Lord, Booker T, Steppinwolf, Greg Allman, etc.
