I actually did a quick test yesterday. The drawbars do send MIDI control change, but only on the global channel, and the MIDI CC's are fixed, so you have to have some kind of MIDI translator, like MainStage in this video, which converts the MIDI channel and CC's of the drawbars of Stage 3, to the numbers for the parameters of the software you want to control.

...which is what you'd want. If it sent on multiple channels, it would be a mess if you were triggering different sounds on different channels.

...or you need to be controlling something which, itself, lets you define what CC should do what, as I think most software does.

Guys I did the video faster (just to test) ... you can setup the Extern Engine to send CC.
I did the test wit MS (as showed) and using IOS ... and you can use a other knobs (like the DRIVE) to control other parameters on Software or APP

Yes, most controls on the Nord send MIDI CC.

Is this possible with a Stage Classic (Compact) as well?
I would like to control the organ in Mainstage with the drawbar switches of the Nord.
