look for local control on/off to shut down the internal p105 voices. Hooking up to the NE5 (via the USB midi USB host e.g Kenton) and leaving the local control on on will allow you to play both sounds together (layering).
And as Maxpiano indicated splitting is also possible (I am not familiar with this)

Actually the NE 5 uses the "split" logic/terminology (Upper/Lower) also when dealing with MIDI control, but basically it has 2 "sections" (Lower and Upper) of which the Upper can be used for splits on the NE5 or fully dedicated to an external MIDI controller/master keyboard. So when you do that you lose the ability to split on the NE5 itself.
