I'm wondering if anyone has any indications of the next product Clavia will release at NAMM 2018 around the corner.

My reason is this: I'd like to buy a Nord Drum 3P, but I'm curious if a Nord Drum 4 is next up (that I might want to wait for) or if an Electro or other model will be the next development for 2018.

Here's why I'm thinking this. In 2015, I noticed right at November Black Friday prices were drastically slashed on the Nord Stage 2, and I picked one up new for a fraction of the price (which I just sold at nearly the same price after using two years). Shortly after, the Nord Stage 2EX was released. The retailer was unloading inventory because of what was coming. Perhaps it was widely known, but I find this price reduction significant as a predictor of future market development.

So today, I just received communication from a retailer selling the Nord Drum 3P new at a similar drastically reduced price. It is also mid-November, when retailers may want to clear out inventory before a new product hits the market. Sure, this is one retailer. But I'm curious if anyone else sees any indications of Clavia's next direction in this or other products. Any clues I'm missing?

Nord stage 3D

I'm still hoping for a Lead A1/organ mashup. Think Stage Compact without the piano section.

I've heard that next product in line is the modeled accordion. Nord Cordion. It will have several accordion models, plus melodica and harmonica, perhaps some other similar instruments.



I'm joking. I think it is helpful to watch the current product lines to see when the prices get slashed. Last year about 6 months ahead of the NS3, they NS2EX prices were slashed. History repeats itself.

I don't keep up with the Drum products, just the keyboards. I think they have a pretty good set of instruments and with all the ongoing work to flush out NS3 features and bugs, they may not have a new product at NAMM 2018. If they did, what's their oldest current product or most in need of an update?

Merge of the Nord A1 and the Nord Wave. They have kind of done this as part of the NS3 anyway, just add the additional voices. It would be a killer machine with the ability to use samples as well as having a nice onboard Synth.

I guess Nord is still very busy to get the NS3 bugfree, also the related tools...

I‘d appreciate some Lead (preferably A1) with 61 keys. I don‘t need the new display or any other upgrade. This should be easy to develop.
