does anyone use the wah effect on the hammond model of the ne3? i'm after a big organ trio type sound for some funky solos (like 1:30 of this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JjMAFumOlU) and i'm frustrated by the fact that i can't separate the control of the p-wah and the organ swell. i get a decent sound using a-wah with the swell pedal but its still not what i'm after. can anyone recommend something else i could be doing or maybe some outboard effects?

Yeah, I was trying to do something similar, alas I don't believe it's possible to disable the organ volume/swell pedal when the pedal wah effect is enabled...you'd probably have to connect a separate wah pedal.

Yes, I also emailed nord with this question (before this useful forum was online). It is just not possible, they said. What I used to do when I wanted a wah on an organ (can be really cool on the vox an farfisa I think) is to pull out my swell pedal. This allows you to control the wah with the rate button. I know, you have only one hand left then...

I have a Electro 3 HP and I use an old VOX wahwah pedal from the 70´s to get a good controlled wah effect............
