Dear fellow Nord Beat 2 users,

Just wanted to share this: iOS11 does not support 32 bit apps, these apps won’t open in iOS11 if you leave them installed, therefore I was advised to uninstall Nord Beat 2 before I updated my iPad to iOS11. The app is no longer available in the appstore once you updated to iOS11. No info or notification on the Nord website if there will be a new version of the app .. we’ll just have to wait and see..

It's a shame Clavia decided to make Nord Beat abandonware. It as developed by Kymatica's Jonathan Lyljedahl with whom I exchanged a few emails after I bought the ND2 because it became obvious before long that the MIDI clock out of NB was far from tight. Jonathan even admitted that was a bug but also said this is formally a Clavia app and unless he's not asked officially by Clavia to fix it, he can't and won't do it. It appears now this is never gonna happen. On a side note, imo the best and most complex drum machine/sequencer app that works so fine with the ND2 is Patterning which I have used with the ND since day one and rarely I opened Nord Beat, still, sometimes I do miss that sleek UI. I'm not surprised by the app now removed from the app store - after Clavia dumped the ND2 from their store and it's like nowhere available now, this was bound to happen.
Thanks Albert for letting us know, I'll stay on iOS 10 on my iPad.

Nord Beat 2 has been updated and supporting iOS 11 now.

Hi, I am having another trouble...
I can't find the app in the appstore, and when I look for it in the links on the internet, it appears to be unavailable.

What can I do?

You’re right, that is strange! Not much you can do but wait, they must be aware of this, I don’t know what the reason is / their plans are, perhaps check out some other (step-)sequencers, like cubasis, patterning,..
