Hello guys
I'm trying to buy Nord C2 or something else, and I found out that this company(probably german) called Doepfer made midi organ controller called D3C + D3M.
dual manual. pair of drawbars, 2 drawbars for pedal.
I heard that it uses software VB3, which sounds fairly good.
does anyone have an experience with this?
anyone owned Doepfer D3 dual manual system?

Re: anyone owned Doepfer D3 dual manual system?
Hi kshim,
I'm using the D3M keyboard on top of my NordStage, triggering the Nord-Organ with it. So I can only tell about the playing feeling, not about the sound of doepfers organ module itself. It's a great keyboard, fine organ feeling and of course all organ playing techniques (smears etc.) are possible.
Never heard the doepfer module, sorry. But although doepfer is a good company here in germany -- known mainly for their really good masterkeyboards -- and the people there should be considered as musical heads, making sturdy, elaborated instruments for musicians: Can't imagine that their Organ module nearly sounds as good as the nord organs.
But as I said: The hardware is really good.
Keep us updated if you have the chance to compare doepfers organ module with the nords!
Best, magic

Thanks magic_dillitzer! I'm thinking to buy this, but not sure yet.
the only thing is I can't test it since I'm trying to get this from ebay. don't know what to buy but I'll post if I get doepfer or c2!
thanks!

I have lusted after Doepfer's stuff for many years, from their MIDI controller knobs and what-not to the A-100 to the D3M, and though I don't have first-hand experience I've heard nothing but complementary things about their hardware. Personally I'd love to use their controllers with a Nord or similar backend.

Sounds really nice. How do you set up on the D3 which midi channel you want to send to the Nord? In the Nord you have to choose the same channel on the midi input
