I just clicked the plug back into place. No further issues since then, but I have not carried the keyboard around yet.

It seems to be the same connector than my other Nord, and I had never this problem before, so I think they've done a mistake on this serie.

No.. no.. no.. locktite is for screws... and gaffers tape is not secure.

If there is real concern about the connector coming loose, (and it really shouldn't be doing that) then you'd put a small dab of silicon RTV adhesive on it.

Disclaimer. DO NOT PUT adhesive on the connectors before they are fully seated together.

I can see a tiny hole in the print board just behind the connector. Perhaps you can get a tiny cable tie through it and around the connector between some of the cables for securing ?
A dab of silicon on the molded plastic part of the connector are also another good soloution.

I tried an NS3 compact today. Guess what... the wheel didn't work! They had just taken it, brand new, out of the box for me to try.
Is it time to panic yet!? It is a bit worrying that this may be a common issue. If the one I played today is fixed quickly, I'm tempted to go for it but I'm concerned the problem could return. I left it with them to get it fixed before I make any commitment to buy it. I'll let you know what the cause of the fault is for this particular NS3, if I hear.

Another one that makes me continue to wait for another 4/6 months before buying a Stage 3 to let Nord the time to fix all the bugs/QC issues...

Now, I have a problem with my wheel, too:
The NS3 compact is on my desk just for 1 week and it´s even brand new!
5 minutes ago the wheel stopped working regular. The parameters I set with the morph are still moving, but only the half way. And it´s the same problem with the factory sounds.
Do you think I should open it and look for the connection or are there any other bugs known with the wheel meanwhile?

Question is, what happens to the warranty, if you open the board? This is a bit disappointing, quality always was a main thing imho to buy a Nord.

I think about the warranty, too. But the shop is about 150 kilometers away and I don‘t want to send it by post.
I almost finished my programs and I would like to take it on saturday for the first gig. That really sucks

I solved my problem temporary:
I removed the cover carefully this morning, but the pin was still connected. So I just waggled a little bit with the contacts and assembled it again hopelessly. Now, it works again. So it´s definitely a problem with the hardware! The area doesn´t look really stable, probably it will happen again.
The next time I will send it to the shop and ask for replacement.
