NL4 Multi Focus Issue
Dear all !!
I don't think the Multi-Focus features of my NL4 is behaving normally. i.e. when I have 4 slots active with multi focus on, if I turn down the output volume knob to 0, it reduces the global volume of the 4 slots but there is still a remaining sound on one or two slots even when the output knob is at 0!! This problem does not happen on all the patches, it seems to be relatively random.
Any help would be appreciated,
thanks a lot

I do not have a NL4, so I might be very wrong, I wonder if those "still sounding" slots had a higher output volume to start with, and you are seeing (well, hearing ) only the difference when the some of the other slots reach 0?

hi Mr_-G
thank you for your reply,
Actually, I thought that the Multi Focus function applied on the Volume control knob was supposed to reduce the volume of all the 4 slots to 0 when the knob is fully turned counterclockwise.
It do not seem to behave like this ??
best regards.

If you turn it up to full first, then turn it to zero, do all four parts stop sounding?

Re: NL4 Multi Focus Issue
I don't know if my question regards to "multi focus" topic but here is a question:
lest's say i have a pad drone on first slot, arpeggio on second slot and i play lead on third slot. And this third slot is activated (first and second slot in "hold" mode). When i want to use pitch stick or modulation wheel results affects on all three sounds (slots). How to change this that i can use it only for slot that i'm actually playing?

Re: NL4 Multi Focus Issue
You can't locally, unless you switch off bend for the other slots (this is fairly fast after you get used to it, I now do that on the fly while playing live).
If controlled from MIDI externally, you can have individual bend values set up for each slot.
