World-wide guarantee?

This is the right place if your topic concerns different Nord Keyboards, you are not sure which one is the right one for you, etc.

No sorries necessary. All cool.

And yes, I sometimes have a negative vibe. No sorries for that either :)

perhaps it is the case that the divisiveness and negativity commonly seen every day on the evening news (most everywhere on the planet) has a way of creeping into collective consciousness

and perhaps it may require conscious effort to combat this from taking over...

Please don't kill each other
For starting the conversation with Nord I have to fill Contact Technical Support form, and Serial Number is a mandatory field. I don't have any Nord product yet, so I cannot fill in the form completely.
So let's get back to the fundamental question!
Many of you has Nord product. Maybe from an official distributor. A Yes/No answer to the World-wide guarantee question would be enough based on your own warranty options.

No serial required, they have responded to me on that page.

Another simple solution is to phone/email the Nord retailer (music store) of your choice and ask them the question.

Call one of the big online retailers. I presume they do international sales. I don't know what country you are from because your profile only has a flag and I have not memorized all 197 world flags. I know it's not Barbados, they have a trident on theirs.

We have no brick-and-mortar Nord dealers here in Chicagoland that I've found. Guitar Center, Sam Ash etc don't carry them. Of course, those place generally have weak keyboard selections all around - you won't find any top line Yamahas or Korgs there either. Plenty of $3000 guitars though...

The point is -- there is no such thing as worldwide guarantee. Laws are different in different countries and companies who import goods into a country are responsible for knowing and adhering to the laws of that country. It is expected that wholesale distributors in any given nation will have superior knowledge of these laws. They will also have 1) no language barriers with the customers of that country, and 2) the most accurate knowledge of available service facilities in that country. Therefore, warranty matters are contractually delegated to the wholesaler of each individual country. It's the only way the business can work, and coincidentally the most efficient way. Hungarian customers need to consult their Hungarian distributor. Nord can make the referral.
