Does anyone know where I can order the proper 5 Pin Jacks for the NL2X. I had the jacks replaced but it didn't allow for the tiny screws to go back in and I kept losing the midi connection or getting hanging notes. I think I need to order the proper jacks to allow for the screws go to go into place which prevent movement where the midi cables go in and out.

Have a look at the Distributors list in the Nord site and give them a call to the one in your country. If they do not have that part, maybe you could ask them what is the part number and try to source it somewhere else (like RS components or similar).

Thanks guys, sorry about the delay in responding, got busy with the holidays but will be checking back in over the weekend.

I'm in California, Pablo hooked me up with the midi jacks. I had a tech install them but unfortunately the problem persists, as it did with the previous jacks, the midi notes hang, I have to hold the cable in place and it works for a second and then it stops working. Interestingly the midi worked for a while with the previous jack install and I really don't remove midi cables often as things stay put in my studio, in any case the midi eventually went out on those jacks in a few weeks. So I got the proper ones put in place, and still here we are. I'm pretty fed up, midi should not be this much drama it should be plug it in and forget about it.

If this problem is continuing, then the repair work itself is suspect. Also note that tech detected broken traces and installed jumpers, further muddying the issue and widening the area of possible fault locations.
