Nord lead 2 initializing sound
I just got my first synthesizer (Nord lead 2) and I could not find a way to initialize a sound/preset. Is this possible and if so, how do I do it?

Probably the easiest way is to switch to "manual" mode.
In that way, all the parameters will correspond exactly to the knobs' physical position, and you can then edit them freely (and eventually store your sound as a regular program)

That sounds cool, Does the A1 have manual mode? i can't find it in the manual. Right now i am starting from an empty program. But when i fill up all of my programs in memory i don't know where i would start from. having manual mode sounds a little better to me for experimentation purposes.

I prefer to start my NLA1-tweaking from the "Init Sound" state. Manual p 19.
Thinking about it ... I don't remember seeing any "Manual" button on my NLA1.

Ok ya marlowes, i found the init button. took a minute 
Its the same settings i get using an empty program in memory.
I don't think the A1 has a manual button/mode for some reason.
