Hello, Here is my Nord Electro 5 custom stand.
I want to thank my dear friend Philip for his help. This is how we made it :

Everything has begin with 50 euros of wood ... Not very sure what I was doing ...


Then came the time of doing holes in it :


Assembling it ... on my old SV1 stand.




Make it clean, polishing, make it clean, polishing ...


Then putting colored varnish on it ... first time


Second Time :


Right color, I stop.
Cleaning, polishing, ...
Varnish again but with no color this time, just to make it shine.
Wait 24 hours. ...

Installing the machine ...




And here it is :








Cost :
50 euros for the wood,
The Sv1 stand,
20 euros of "verni"
And a very good friend to help you,

Very happy with it, very stable and it gives you a feeling of something like a piano when playing it

Really nice looking! How much was the sv1 stand, do you remember?

Yes the all budjet was something like 150€ but I already had the SV1 Stand wich was in my cellar.
I tried the Electro on it alone, and it was no good. Everything was moving. That's how I got this idea first ... just to secure it.

Unfortunately I don't have plans for that. But it is simple. I just took a piece of paper and wrote the dimensions that I took myself.
Afterall , it's just 4 pieces of wood but I really did want something to protect my Electro at home.
If I had any doubt, I was just making it a little bit larger. It's all made with 2.2mm low quality external wood, the one you take to make a small house for a dog in a garden

If you need, I can take the exact sizes of it, so you can do something similar (or if you have other ideas ...) Just let me know

very impressive. Was thinking about doing something like this but for travel. But ended up spending too much money on a gator molded instead.

I think I spent like 7 hours to do it. Total time I mean with varnish included.
I guess a closed version would be easy to do but ... what about the weight. This one is around 10 kg in total, SV1 stand included.
So let's say for a closed version, no stand but more wood, it should be like 7 kg I guess.

Total weight Electro included = 18 kg.
Gator should be less heavy. But this one has the home made satisfaction
