Electro 5 Stand
Electro 5 Stand
Hey guys,
I like the look of the Nord stand, plenty of room for your feet and all.....but, is it possible to put extra arms on for another keyboard to go on top?

Re: Electro 5 Stand
An alternative suggestion. I recently bought the K&M Omega 18810 with the stacker. It's rock solid, looks goods, Great foot space, adjustments, options and not expensive. http://www.produkte.k-m.de/en/Keyboard-stands. Or you could go for 18880 + 18881 + 18882 and have two additional stackers. (Though personally I don't prefer any parts of the stand near my feet or legs, like on the X, Y and Z stands)

Wow, after 131 views, an answer.
And what an answer! Thanks Happy, that's a great alternative, just the type of thing I'm looking for. Thomann have it at 77 GBP.

Re: Electro 5 Stand
Happy I could help. It looks even good in the living room.
, while those X/Y/Z's look a bit too "techie" in there.. I don't have an E5 (plan for one) but I hope you have fun with it on this stand. I think the 18880 may be better if you need to gig with your stuff (look like its fold-able) but then it comes to X/Y/Z's and then there are several other options.

Hi Jeddy, Wow, Looks like some Swedish folks visited a company in Germany. Seems this is new product. Guess a lot of Nord users will love this. I got the black one though. Now a red bench, a red LCD stand and a red microphone boom and the family is complete ! And a red stacker ! And oh, the picture show some familiar products placed on it.

Re: Electro 5 Stand
Hi.
I'm considering the two-tier 18810 stands, so now deciding between black and red. Anyone has the red version in life and can tell whether one can get a bit fed up by all the red, esp. if a second keyboard is black? So far can only find studio pictures without context. They're a bit pricey (plus, red adds another 11 EUR but OK
), so wanna be sure I will be happy with it for the years (read: decades!) to come...
cheers

Re: Electro 5 Stand
Hi,
I've just gotten the Nord Piano3 and the K&M Omega 18810 (Red).
Love the keyboard stand, but scared that the stand is too small for the 88keys. It seems stable... but scared because the support beams are so close together and also the little rubber bumpers that you put on them to support the keyboard.
I feel like the keyboard will start bending over time?
As the pictures i see above with the Stage EX 2, I'm assuming thats the same size as the piano 3. but you notice how the support beams in the picture are not all the way out by the edge of the stand.
Am I being paranoid?

Re: Electro 5 Stand
I was first tempted by the red, especially in my studio, but realized that with the D50 black and the Prophet 08 Black and wood, it won't be that nice..maybe I could have my Yorkville stand Iks-8 painted, I know some folks at a car dealer who might do it for me...Thanks for the pictures and the idea anyway.
